Note to LiveJournal users:

If you're reading this in LiveJournal and you want to comment on it, the comment link to use is the first one, the one on the left, that just says "Comment", and not the one on the right that says "Comment on this". The "Comment on this" one will only be visible within LiveJournal, which means only four people will see it--myself not among them. _

Okay, I've added a web interface for entry editing for m14m blogledytes. You can either go to http://www.m14m.net/cgi-bin/editweblog.py and enter your username, or, as a shortcut, you can go to http://www.m14m.net/your_directory/editblog

This gives you a page with the last ten entries from your blog on it, each one in an editable text box. I've also created a bookmarklet to let you go to the edit page for a specific entry. Just right click on this link--"Edit This Entry"--and add it to your Bookmarks, or Favorites, or whatever your browser calls them. Then, to edit an entry on your blog, click on the permlink for that entry and then choose your Edit This Entry bookmark. It should take you to a page with an edit box containing the entry you selected.

I haven't tested this much, so don't be surprised if something goes wrong. If it does, just tell me about it, and I'll see what I can do. Also, note that the entry editing script doesn't do automatic linking or conversion of linebreaks like your add entry page does. _

Okay, m14m.net blogledytes, now you can edit your sidebar without having to bug me about it. Just go to the handy new sidebar editor and fuss about with it till it does the right thing. You have to post an entry after editing it for the edits to take effect. For now you can only edit the sidebar, rather than the whole template for your blog, 'cause I wasn't up to explaining how templating works. If you don't have a sidebar (Mirabai and Tori), it edits the bit of text at the bottom of your blog. Your username and password are your username and password. (Your username, if you don't know, is the name of the directory where your blog is stored.) If you fuck anything up horribly, I've got backups ready to restore. _

Okay, so this morning I fleshed out the Blogger API support for bloglet, so that it should work with more clients. You should try this out--it lets you edit your old posts, so I don't have to. You can use something like BlogBuddy to access it, server URL is http://www.m14m.net/cgi-bin/blogletBloggerAPI.py and username and password are... what they are. I also added good quality RSS feeds for all the m14m.net bloglets--just look for a file named index.rss in the same directory as your blog. I did this mostly 'cause I was sick of having my own RSS feed looking so ugly. It is better now--it even validates. Actually, the RSS feed just sorta led to the other stuff. _
