So, today, in my yahoo account, I got an invite from the gmail people, cause back when gmail was new, and selling for $100 on eBay, I gave them my email address, saying, hey, I want one. So, just in case in the past seven/eight months since I sent them that I hadn't gotten an invite from a friend or family or gmailswap (which is now down) or the gmail spooler that Kerne is into in any of the various times they've given out the damn invite things, I too, could now get a gmail invite.

Did you know that Nutella is actually less bad for you than peanut butter?Someone named Nate called for one of my roommates this evening, and was being all "hi! This is Nate!" rather than, say, asking to talk to my roommate right away, which completely confused me because he didn't particularly sound like Nate, and Nate is in Africa, and it was probably whatever midnight in Cameroon, and it struck me as odd that Nate would call me from Cameroon. So I'm here going "Nate? Um...what?" It dawned on me that it wasn't Nate Eagle, and this person still hadn't told me who they were trying to reach, and eventually I had to ask. Personally, I think that flies up against phone etiquette, you should always say who you're trying to reach rather quickly in the phone conversation ("hello?" "hello, this is x, I'm trying to reach y." The only reason to circumvent this script is if you say "hello, a, this is x, ((insert 'may I please speak with y' if necessary)) or if you are ordering take out. But, then, you're usually pretty upfront about what you say.)

Molly's dog sheds. There are short red furs all over everything. They are small enough that you don't really see them, and apparently they don't stick to Molly's clothes, cause she's always surprised when I complain about Buella furs all over my clothes.

I have spent my dad reading Cicero more quickly than I though I actually could. And thenI got an email from my cousin (who is getting married--he is the twin of the one who imed me in the middle of the night, and neither of them is the one with cancer) and in his signature there were two Latin phrases, neither one of which was a complete sentance. I sat there and stared at both of them for like ten minutes. The first one I figured out pretty quickly (something like the way of life is truth) but the other I just stared at and could make no sense of it til I went to Perseus's Latin Morphological tool (I don't know where my actual Latin dictionary is, I've been using the glossary at the back of my Cicero) before I figured out that it meant "there is hope in god."

I have no milk for my morning tea. This distresses me. Maybe I'll drink coffee with whatever milk-alternative Molly has in the fridge. Coffee is fine to add rice/soy/almond/whatever to, but the flavour of tea doesn't hold such things well.

I slept on the couch the entire time I was home, cause my bedroom was like ice. Then my parents slept in my bed last night in Philly and I slept on the couch, cause my mom had a plane at 7:15. When they left the house at whatever ungodly hour they left at, I went upstairs and slept in my bed. Beds are nice.

My sister was in The Crucible this weekend (she played Goody Putnam). It was probably the best performance I've seen go up at F&M.; Proctor and Hale were amazing. Then yesterday, my parents and I went off to see Jamie's V-Day Vagina Monologues performance.

I went home this past weekend, and played with puppies. I'd had a clear favourite before this weekend, and now I love them all. I'm going to wait another couple of weeks, until they are more mobile, to see their real personalities. And, if I really really can't decide, I might put them all on the ground, walk to the other side of the room, and see who comes to me first.

The puppies are darling. They walk around and try to play, and then they will curl up in your lap and try to suck on your fingers. They kiss your nose. Unfortunately, they have stinky puppy breath, but they are so cute it's okay.
