There are several things that seem totally absurd about the Trojan War. The Trojan had to know they were going to lose. I don't think Troy was particularly larger than Mycenae, and Agamemnon brought the most men, but by no means all of them, and you never really hear about Trojan allies. Why they didn't just go, okay, here, take Helen and go, is beyond me. If Paris wanted to keep her, then Paris can go fight them himself. Or like they did in whichever book that was (4?) where Paris and Menelaus fought one on one for Helen. And if Helen is in Egypt the hwole time living with this Proteus guy who sent a fake Helen off to Troy, so's he could keep an eye on Meleaus's stuff, that's even more ridiculous. Who the hell fights a war over a woman who isn't even there? And why didn't Proteus escort Helen back to Sparta, or send a message like "hey, dude, I've got your wife and your stuff down here in Egypt. Sent that idiot Trojan kid back off to Troy. Will watch her and your stuff till you show up, okay?" Silly.

And I lost an earring. A cheap one, the one they'd used to make a hole at the tope of my ear, but I liked it cause it glinted and the metal didn't irritate my skin. And it's lost somewhere in Cassies room.

I lost two pens that I loved dearly. I had them in my backpack before I went home for Thanksgiving, and I took them out and left them here, and I haven't seen them since. This has been bugging me for a while, not the least because my planner is looking much less colourful with blue-black and ruby (y'know, Noah, I still have the first cartridge of that ruby you gave him in my pen, I haven't used the stuff in the bottle at all) than it did before when I had a peacock blue and purple pen (one of each) that I would write in. And they were lovely pens. And the peacock blue was so pretty.

Here was me, all excited cause my Sim made it to the top of her career track and was a Superstar. And she went off to work for one day, one day, that's it, I swear, before she decided she wanted to go into politics. I hate having my Sims in the politics track. Ah well. I had promised myself I was going to make them go through all the careers as the game decided they should.

With the one and only cleric I ever played in D&D, they told me I had to come up with a god for my cleric, and I had to come up with it all on my own, without any of those handy books most people use, and I could make up a god of whatever. I think I didn't want to be a cleric in the first place, and wanted to continue on my merry way with a mage like I usually do. I wanted my cleric to worship the god of athiesm, but they all told me I was just being silly, and could I please pick a sensible god.

My parents appeared in town last night cause they decided to go Christmas shopping down in this area, and wanted to take me out to dinner. It was a very rushed meal, cause it was that night where they keep all the stores on Main St. open til midnight, and so it took us forever to find parking. But it was totally a way more edible meal than anything I've had since Thanksgiving. And they took my plants home, which is good, cause when I leave here, I'm going to my dad's house in New Jersey and then going home, and I don't particularly feel like dragging my plants off to New Jersey and then Pennsylvania. It seems as though there is way more oppurtonity to have them get ruined doing that.

My simbaby turned into a lovely little girl. She is cute, and she is wearing the wizard outfit. She has all but two nice points, as well as playful and active, and then her outgoing and neat are nearly as good. I was impressed. I didn't know you could have as many personality points as she seem to have.
