Would you like to buy a healthcare information company? I'm particularly fond of the disclaimer: * Reuters is not responsible for the content in this press release.
The WSJ story, which is half the length and more informative. It does make sense: healthcare is essentially local, because it's so regulation dependent.

For my corporate chat client, can never remember which is Exit, and which is Close. It's a terrible jumble of metaphors. Am I inside the program? If I close it without exiting, am I trapped?

The green roasted seaweed is better than the red roasted seaweed. the red stuff is kind of fishy. This is what I have learned from my last trip to H-Mart.
I should probably find a way of eating it that doesn't involve eating it straight, since it's basically like a potato chip without the potato, and at 25c a sheet, it's a fairly expensive snack.

I have just bought clipless pedals, meaning pedals with clips. I hate cycling terminology.

The joys of proprietary software: mod(-29,30) = -29. And this, my friends, is the bug that I've been chasing since sunday.

Some amusing examples of the tone of our local tax override debate: "I understand your point and feel sorry that sarcasm had to be part of the way you made it." Another: "Thank you the tolerance and patience to respond to these types of arguments in a level headed manner. I find it difficult as more and more people on this list continue to attack individuals - including children - instead of attacking the arguments themselves."
The first writer has the tolerance and patience to pity their opponents for being so unpleasant. How very civil. The second is unable to be so generous, after apparently witnessing mobs of jackbooted no voters terrorizing the community.

I have TV! Images over the airwaves! HD ones, even. All major networks. Also, digital static is awesome.

Someone in East Arlington has a siberian husky puppy, and it looks for all the world like a cat on a leash until you get close.

The description of Anchorage in McPhee's Coming Into the Country is my new favorite thing. Starts halfway down the page. It's too good to excerpt. Okay, 'condensed, instant Albuquerque'. Seriously, read it.

We are testing a new strategy: opening the screen in one window, so the cat can jump in and out. No bugs yet.
