It is true that occasionally you ask a computer to do something, and it does it in a painfully slow, annoying way, and you're like, if I could have just written my request in a proper programming language rather than through your silly GUI, you could have answered my question in seconds, rather than minutes!  But this doesn't make GUI's useless.  It just means they need more options.  (Like, a 'search in existing results' radio button, in today's case) _
