Trader Joes Papadum = yummy. Sort of Fava Bean Pringles with curry powder sprinkled on them. Very light puffy texture.

Are potatoes mentioned anywhere else on the packaging? No.

Nothing like as richly* flavored as Doritos, but much better texture, and less greasy than more conventional potato chips.
*Richly isn't the word I want. I have no flavor language. Doritos flavoring is blunt, wide and encompassing. like someone sloshed a wide variety of orange paint on some gravel. Like someone dropping a piano, where this is just a nice chord. It isn't that doritos have more flavor, you understand. Just wider flavor. Agh, I give up. I still maintain that Doritos are a wonder of modern chemistry.

I really hope this is true. It isn't just that the world needs more evil twins. It's that all the gleeful lefty bigots who took this as an opportunity to denounce the very notion of black Republicans will hopefully all feel burning shame and become better people for it. Accusing black/gay/poor Republicans of treason is just about my least favorite bit of politics. Does this happen on the right as well? Do democratic members of republican minorities and denominations regularly have their motives impugned?

I'm wearing my favorite green shirt today, and plan to wear my green trousers tomorrow. You see, I have to plan ahead to make sure I'm not wearing any green on Friday. Between my hair, my accent, my height, and my distaste for alcohol, I've always felt a great animosity towards St. Patrick's day. Besides all that, It's just such a trendy ethnicity. I like to think I'd be just as opposed to universally celebrated German day, Roma day, Catalan Day, or Norwegian Day.

Last bit of ice
60 today, and the ice was melting. As it melted, the sheets of it drifted to our end of the pond, and stacked on top of each other, making screeching and chirping noises. This is a very thin piece of submerged ice. Taken with my new polarizing filter, which is very nearly magical.
