Taken from most of the way up Monadnock, facing westish. The one on the horizon is Stratton Mountain, I believe. Of the 3 mountains taller than Monadnock in Windham County, Vermont, it's the only one that's the right shape. If that's what it is, then it's 50 miles away.

Yesterday, I was insanely productive. Today, I am watching pandas. Was it that I got up early? That I was doing analysis rather than data management? Or do I simply have an efficency cycle?

Bah. I've worn out the thumb of my right winter cycling glove. Fleece didn't hold up to the gear shifter very well. All my other gloves are either too bulky or have wind-permeable backs of the fingers. I suppose I have to go to the local bicycle shop. I hate bicycle shops; they're designed for the cycling as sport culture, which I find, if not detestable, then at least alien, tacky and overpriced.

Right, okay. A few seconds before I took this one, those three swans flew in, straight towards me, and landed all in a row, together, sun shining through their outstretched wings. I can still see it. This is to remind me of the one I missed. Notice the seagull behind them complaining bitterly.
