Yum fresh cod with coconut-curry sauce. Unfortunately, eating fresh atlantic cod is apparently evil. I'll have to investigate. Sustainable fishing is one of the only bits of the econinny food agenda I subscribe to. Apparently you can't get bacon, GMO tomatoes, or a decent loaf of sandwich bread at Whole Foods, but you can get endangered fish. bah.

It is easy to forget, while not watching caloric intake, precisely why doing so is such a strain. Some buried portion of my brain keeps evaluating everything I see for food content. Telephone... no. Curtains... no. Cat... maybe. I also keep absentmindedly opening the refrigerator. I tell it that I'm making it food, but it no longer trust me.
