I have decided that microwave is a silly name for a household appliance. Instead, it shall be called the traumatizer. "Could you traumatize this cup of tea for me?". "No thanks, I've got some traumatic lunches in the freezer".

When I'm feeling angry and put-upon, I like to listen to Belle & Sebastian. I am not sure what to make of this. I am fairly sure most people wouldn't consider it angry music. Put-upon, perhaps.

I bought Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII for my birthday. I am currently up to my neck in ancient chinese names, both people and places. Am currently playing as a young Guan Yu during the yellow turban uprising. I have ended up as a prefect of Xia Pi under Sun Jian. I recently captured and recruited Cao Cao (a warlord of Hi Jin at the time) in a counter-attack after he captured my city. Since Cao Cao is the brightest man in the 3 kingdoms, I hope to get the opportunity to study from him.
I may need to study ancient chinese history after this.
The game itself is similar to Warlords, with a tabletop battle mode, only much slower, and with piles of texture. Games that addict me are ones that allow you to formulate and execute your own plans, because I end up jumping out of bed after only 4 hours sleep because I've had an idea. It's a kind of game that has died out somewhat, since it's completely incompatable with cut scenes.
The one thing I wish this game did was keep a history for the characters, so you could view both their actual biography, and a cobbled together biography for them from the game reality.

My job satisfaction is inversely related to my exposure to upper management. Note to self: Do not become upper management.

In the new outlook, you can see the title of other people's meetings. I shall have to be more careful how I describe things.
