Ari is at Harvard. I can't say I'm surprised, but I had no idea. (For my non-Hershey readers: Ari is someone who can balance things on the end of his nose.)

Woke up at 5. It was 60 degrees outside. Went for a walk. The snow is all gone, save a few shrunken piles. Wind is gusting all over the place. I don't think my lunch is going survive much past 10. Supposed to snow this evening. Whatever happened to heat coming from the sun?

Yargh. There has to be something better than passwords. Password synchonization is like eating well. You know you'd be happier if you did it, it just takes so much energy. Anyway, why should I care if someone else can submit my time card? Need this be so secure?

XML, and more generally, being paid to do something you have no idea how to do, is fun. Particularly with Visual Studio and the accompanying documentation. It would be significantly less fun with a text editor and a randomly selected book.

A travesty: I'm listening to a recording of Short Sharp Shock from the Mikado, sung by flash opera belters with no sense of humor whatsoever. Glyndebourne Festival, whatever that is. They may as well be singing Italian.

Here is the vague tetrahedron we welded, as a flimsy excuse for playing with welding equipment. Beneath is the stained glass octahedron we assembled the next day.
